AHLEM
We are always drawn to eyewear that asks you to slow down, and AHLEM does exactly that. Founded in 2014 by Ahlem Manai-Platt, the brand sits at the intersection of radical minimalism and poetic craftsmanship, with a clarity that feels deeply aligned with how we see eyewear at Six Six. AHLEM eyewear is thoughtful, restrained and quietly confident, designed to feel as relevant in twenty years as it does today.

Every AHLEM frame is handcrafted in France by master artisans, including Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, using techniques refined over generations. Each piece passes through 9 to 15 skilled hands and more than 300 individual steps. Premium 8mm cotton-derived acetate, ultra-light titanium and high-grade metal alloys electroplated with 22-karat gold are chosen for their balance, longevity and comfort. The result is luxury optical frames that feel as good as they look, with a presence you notice the moment you put them on.

The design language is precise yet soft. Triangles bring structure and grounding, while circles introduce movement and openness. You see this in the deliberate bevels that catch the light, the laser-engraved Bauhaus filigree, hand-hammered surfaces and custom thread-lock hinges that hold everything together beautifully. AHLEM’s exclusive acetate colours are developed in close collaboration with French artisans, giving each frame a depth and warmth that is hard to replicate.
